Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park
Madrona is just a five minute walk away from Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park, the safest and sandiest warm-water beach in British Columbia. Spend your days bird-watching, beachcombing or wading in the warm water. At night, light a campfire (subject to fire closures) or have a picnic on the beach.

Coombs
The Coombs Old Country Market is famous for the goats that live on the roof and is a favourite spot for of visitors and locals alike. Bring the family to shop of international foods, imported gifts, in-store baked goods and ice cream.
Coombs is also home to Butterfly World & Gardens. Stroll through the tropical gardens filled with trees, plants flowers and butterflies from around the world. Enjoy rare tropical plants with the exotic aromas and flashes of color. Share the world of the butterfly as they fly, sip nectar, court or simply bask in the sunlight, showing of their glorious colours.
Big Qualicum Fish Hatchery

Cathedral Grove, in MacMillan Provincial Park
Cathedral Grove, located in MacMillan Provincial Park, is one of the most accessible stands of giant Douglas fir trees on Vancouver Island. Stroll through a network of trails under the shadow of towering ancient Douglas-fir trees, some more than 800 years old.
